Approach
How we run an engagement
Every engagement runs in four stages. Each stage has a defined output and a governance checkpoint, so the sponsor can see what has been decided and what is still open.
We lead with the outcome and the risk it reduces, then agree how progress will be shown.
Stage 1
Assess
We confirm the outcome you need, the current state of the services in scope and the risks the change must reduce. We agree the controls that apply and the questions that must be answered before design starts.
Output: an agreed scope, a risk register and the controls that apply.
Stage 2
Design
We design the target state, the migration or service model, and the test, rollback and acceptance steps. We agree the design with you and record each decision.
Output: an approved design and a decision log.
Stage 3
Deliver
We run the work against the agreed plan and report progress and risk to the sponsor at the agreed cadence. Changes follow your change process and ITIL practice.
Output: working services, with changes recorded and risks kept up to date.
Stage 4
Hand over
We transfer the service to your operations team with documentation, runbooks and training agreed at the start. We then review the outcome against the agreed scope.
Output: a handover pack and a closing review against the agreed scope.
Governance
Governance, risk and reporting
Governance is not a separate phase. It runs through all four stages.
- A risk register opened at Assess and kept current until handover.
- A decision log for scope, design and change decisions, shared with the sponsor.
- Progress reporting at a cadence agreed at the start of the engagement.
- Handover is complete when your operations team has accepted the service.
